What is in a plant’s name for humanity? Renato Tomei implies that there is everything: belief systems, culture, history, identity, language, and above all, essence and meaning of life on earth and beyond. In this terse and taut prose, he brings together political north with south, and geographical west with east distinctly depicting beauty, cynicism, dreams, heroism, ideals, values and universality of humanity. The book is entertaining, informative and at the same time, enigmatic.Dr. Yonas Adeto Director Institute of Peace and Security StudiesAddis Ababa University
